Terms of Service

Last updated: June 1, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website, client portal, and services provided by Ignite CFO Group (“Ignite,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services

Ignite provides fractional CFO and financial advisory services and a related client portal that presents financial reporting, dashboards, forecasts, and tools. The specific scope, deliverables, and fees for advisory services are set out in a separate engagement agreement or order between you and Ignite. If those terms conflict with these Terms, the engagement agreement controls for the services it covers.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to act on behalf of your business to use our services. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

3. Connected accounts & data authorization

Our services may require you to connect third-party systems (such as QuickBooks Online and your salon point-of-sale software) or to share business and financial data with us. By connecting an account or sharing data, you represent that you are authorized to do so and you grant us permission to access and use that data to provide the services. Your use of those third-party platforms remains subject to their own terms.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) use the services unlawfully or in violation of these Terms; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to the portal, other accounts, or our systems; (c) interfere with or disrupt the services; (d) reverse engineer or copy the portal except as permitted by law; or (e) upload malicious code or content you do not have the right to share.

5. Intellectual property

The portal, website, and related software, designs, and content are owned by Ignite or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the services for your internal business purposes during your engagement. You retain ownership of the underlying business data you provide.

6. Confidentiality

Each party may receive confidential information of the other. We treat your business and financial information as confidential and use it only to provide the services, as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. No financial, tax, or legal advice guarantee

Our services and the portal are provided to support your financial decision-making. Except as expressly agreed in an engagement, information presented through the portal does not constitute audited financial statements, tax advice, or legal advice, and you are responsible for your own business decisions. We rely on the accuracy and completeness of the data you and your connected systems provide.

8. Disclaimers

Except as expressly stated in a signed engagement agreement, the website and portal are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will always be accurate or available.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ignite will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, or data, arising out of or related to your use of the website or portal. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the portal will not exceed the amounts paid by you to Ignite for the services giving rise to the claim in the three (3) months before the event. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ignite and its personnel from claims, damages, and expenses arising from your misuse of the services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

11. Term & termination

These Terms apply while you use the services. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the services. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, confidentiality, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will survive.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. The state and federal courts located in Arizona will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of these Terms, and you consent to that jurisdiction and venue, except where prohibited by applicable law.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
