Ignite CFO Group (“Ignite,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides fractional CFO services and a secure client portal for salon, beauty, and other small businesses. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.

This policy applies to our website at ignitecfogroup.com, our client portal at portal.ignitecfogroup.com, and the financial and advisory services we provide. Most of the data we handle belongs to our business clients; this policy describes how we treat that information as a service provider, as well as how we handle the personal information of website visitors and portal users.

Information you provide

• Contact and account details (name, business name, email, phone) when you book a call, register, or correspond with us.
• Information you submit through forms, onboarding, scheduling, goals, and uploads.

Business & financial data via connected systems

• Accounting data from QuickBooks Online (e.g., transactions, accounts, reports) that you authorize us to access.
• Operational data from salon point-of-sale and scheduling software (e.g., Phorest, Meevo) and from spreadsheets you share with us.
• Payroll, commission, KPI, and budget inputs used to prepare your reports and forecasts.

Information collected automatically

• Basic usage and device information (e.g., IP address, browser type, pages viewed) and essential cookies used to keep you signed in and secure the portal.

3. How we use information

• Provide, operate, and improve our CFO services and the client portal.
• Prepare financial statements, dashboards, forecasts, and recommendations.
• Authenticate users, secure accounts, and prevent fraud or misuse.
• Communicate with you about your account, services, and support requests.
• Comply with legal, tax, and regulatory obligations.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to provide our services:

• Service providers / subprocessors that host and power the portal and our operations — for example, hosting and database infrastructure (such as Vercel and Supabase), Google Workspace and Google Sheets, and the accounting and point-of-sale platforms you connect (such as Intuit/QuickBooks and your salon software).
• Professional advisors (e.g., legal or accounting) where reasonably necessary.
• Legal and safety reasons — to comply with law, enforce our agreements, or protect rights, property, and safety.
• Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

Our service providers are authorized to use your information only to perform services for us.

5. Data retention

We retain information for as long as your engagement is active and as needed to provide services, comply with our legal and recordkeeping obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data and to limit access to those who need it to serve you.

We are based in the United States and process information here. If you access our services from outside the U.S., you understand that your information may be processed in the U.S.

10. Children’s privacy

Our services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
